Adventure Camp offers unique outdoor activities that build self-confidence, leadership, trust, teamwork and responsibility. Whether the camper is completing a 40-foot climb or performing their first “wet exit” they will experience many new challenges that utilize problem solving skills and collaboration. These challenges, along with games that improve cardiovascular fitness, help develop the child as a whole. In its 10th summer, our program offers campers the opportunity to mountain bike, stand up paddle board, raft, tube, kayak, rock climb, and hike as well as play multiple games. Campers will be spending days on the Shenandoah River, at the waterpark, up on the rocks, hiking or biking trails, or navigating the largest ropes course on the east coast with multiple zip lines. We end the week with a camp out at the barn (on campus) where we build a campfire, grill out for dinner and make s’mores. “Manhunt” or flashlight tag ends the camp day on an exciting note. All activities are offered under the “choose your challenge” philosophy where campers are encouraged but not forced to participate in any activity or element. The camp cost includes all entrances into parks and food for the overnight.
PLEASE NOTE: Thursday night (June 27th) is the overnight camp out. The overnight is OPTIONAL!
